Our purpose is to glorify God by conducting our church in accordance with the Word of God, promoting the worship of God, edifying believers, teaching the whole counsel of God, and administering biblical discipline and ordinances. We seek to win the lost to Christ through personal witnessing, public preaching of the gospel, carrying on a vigorous missionary program around the world, exposing religious error and apostasy, ordaining qualified men of like-faith to the gospel ministry, and maintaining a good testimony for Christ by striving to live godly lives.
Worship
Jesus said that God seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and truth. At Church of the Open Door, we are devoted to just that through our praise, prayer, music, and study of God’s Word.
Instruction
The central theme at Church of the Open Door is the practical teaching and personal application of God’s Word. Understanding that God’s truth is relevant to every situation in life, we place its teaching at the center of every program.
Sharing
Because we have experienced the wonder of forgiveness and the inner peace that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, our passion and great joy is in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others--both in our communities as well as abroad.
Fellowship
At Church of the Open Door we are deeply concerned with building relationships that contribute to the stability and advancement of the Christian life. We understand the need and value of mutual support through love and encouragement.
